3 tips for planning a good email campaign:

Some tips for planning a good campaign:

In any marketing campaign, email or otherwise, the first step is to plan. A plan gives your messages an identity that your customers can relate to. It gives you a goal to shoot for and a yardstick to measure by. And most importantly, a plan will make your life much easier when you sit down to write your messages.

Some tips for planning a good campaign:

(1)Set a goal for your campaigns. What do you want your messages to do? Do you want direct sales? Do you want to just keep your name in front of your customers?

(2)Keep the golden rule in mind: respect your subscribers. Make them feel like they're an important part of your "business because they are," and offer them value in the form of special deals or important information.

(3)Plan ahead on what metrics you want to track and how you will incorporate results into your next messages. Test your subject lines, content, and calls-to-action until you find the formula for engaging your audience.
